The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety invites suitably qualified South African youth to apply for the Traffic Learner Officer Learnership Programme 2025. This 12- month programme offers an opportunity to gain valuable skills and qualifications in traffic law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Gain valuable law enforcement skills and real-world traffic management experience
• Earn a nationally recognised Traffic Officer qualification
• Get paid while training
• Contribute to safer roads and communities in Limpopo

Qualifications

• Have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
• Be 18–35 years old
• Hold a valid Code B driving licence (manual)
• Be a South African citizen with a valid ID
• Be medically fit (must provide a medical certificate confirming ability to do strenuous training)
• Have no criminal record and not be declared unfit to carry a firearm
• Have no visible tattoos that conflict with professional conduct
• Be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
